Middle Schoolers Explore Mystic Seaport!

During our field trip to Mystic Seaport Museum, middle school students enjoyed an incredible day of hands-on learning and exploration!

They started with a planetarium show that brought the night sky to life, helping them understand what they can currently see overhead—including the planets Venus and Jupiter shining brightly right now. ✨🪐

After that, they took a guided tour through history. Students explored a ship that once brought immigrants to America, tried their hand at an immigration “test,” and visited the print shop to see how early printing was done.

It was an engaging and memorable experience that connected science, history, and storytelling all in one amazing trip!
