Expanded Partnership with The Light House = Expanded Support Systems for Our Students!

We are excited to announce an expansion of our partnership with The Light House, a local mental health agency founded by Suzy (Dagon) Williams, CCS Class of 1998. The Light House provides evidence-based and faith-informed support for children, teens, and adults.

Over the past several years, The Light House has been a valued partner to Cornerstone, providing professional development and consultation for our faculty, as well as limited direct services to our students. During this time, we have been grateful to host a clinician on campus one day each week, and many families have benefited from the convenience of scheduling private student sessions on-site during the school day.

Beginning this fall (2026), our partnership will grow significantly. The Light House will expand its on-campus presence to four days per week, with Grace Walker, LPC-A, serving our school community. Grace will continue to offer private counseling sessions for CCS students during the school day for families who choose to participate. In addition, her increased availability to CCS will allow for more consistent faculty consultation, as well as the development of student support initiatives, such as small groups.

Grace Walker was The Light House representative at CCS two years ago, and we look forward to welcoming her back to CCS. We are grateful for this continued and expanded partnership, as we seek to support the overall well-being and growth of all our students!
