Profile of the Ideal Graduate

“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?”

“That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,” said the Cat.

“I don’t much care where…,” said Alice.

“Then it doesn’t matter which way you go,” said the Cat.
— By Lewis Carol, from Alice's Adventure in Wonderland

There is wisdom in the words of the Cheshire Cat.  If we do not know where we want to go, we do not know in which direction to head, and we may just end up where we never intended.  As a school, we recognize the importance of determining our end destination in order to guide us during each step of the journey.  A child’s education, from Pre-K through high school, is indeed a journey, and The Cornerstone Christian School seeks to partner with parents in guiding students along that journey towards graduation.  In keeping with Cornerstone’s stated mission, vision, and values, we work and pray towards the goal that each of our graduates will possess the skills and attributes outlined in our profile of an ideal graduate.

“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.” – Philippians 3:12 (NIV)
