Our Annual Elementary Move-Up Day Was a Huge Success!

Rising Kindergarten through 6th grade students spent time with their future teachers, enjoyed special classroom activities, and started to feel just a little more grown-up as they prepare for the school year ahead.

From listening to a fun story in Kindergarten and sharing written hopes for next year in 1st grade, to making slime for Science in 2nd, exploring jellybean Math in 3rd, building helicopters with snap circuits in 4th, and participating in a game-show type activity to learn fun facts about classmates and teachers in 5th and 6th — the day was full of excitement and discovery!

We loved watching our Cornerstone Lions step eagerly and confidently into what’s ahead for them. Be sure to ask your child all about their special Move-Up Day, along with asking about today’s Easter Chapel—with a message led by Pastor Mr. C and praise led by our Cornerstone Praise Team and our PreK friends!
