Fundraiser Celebration: "45 for 45 Walk"!

We celebrated the success of our fundraiser on Friday, Nov. 21st with a school-wide 45 minute "walk"! This was much more than a simple walk-a-thon. Students earned fun incentives as fundraising families reached benchmarked goals. We blasted music while students traveled in rotations through a Bubble Zone, Beach Zone and Obstacle Zone. And, the fun didn't stop there! We finished our celebration with an "UNbirthday party" for CCS, complete with party hats, noise makers, and cupcakes! Why are we calling it an "UN" birthday party? We are celebrating our birthday early; we are just at the start of our 45th year! After all the excitement, students worked in partner grade groups to make cards for local churches to distribute. A day of fun and dedicated time for service to the community was the perfect way to conclude our fall fundraiser!
