Middle School Field Trip

Our 7th and 8th Grade Earth Science class recently stepped out of the classroom and into the field with an exciting visit to Clark Hill Quarry. The trip gave students the chance to experience geology in action.

During the visit, students examined exposed rock layers, identified minerals, and observed firsthand the forces that have shaped Connecticut’s landscape. With shovels and tools in hand, they practiced real field-science skills!
