Elementary Christmas Store - Help & Donations Needed

The PTFA will be hosting our annual Christmas Store for elementary students on Tuesday, 12/20.  All elementary students will have an opportunity to come and shop for gifts for their family.  Each item will be priced from $1-$5. This is a great event each year. The children love shopping independently and surprising their family members with their gifts. The PTFA needs your help to make this Christmas Store happen!

Volunteers Needed:

Many adult volunteers will be needed to help the students shop.  If you can stop by for an hour or two it would be greatly appreciated. You can sign up for your shift(s) right from the App. Click on "Parents" and then "Volunteer Sign Up" and sign up for the Elementary Christmas Store. You will be able to select the hour(s) that are able to serve.

Donations Needed:

The PTFA is now accepting donations of "tag sale" quality items to be sold at the store. All donations can be dropped off at the elementary office.  This is the perfect time to "re-gift" or to clean out your closets! Popular items in the past have included handbags, neck ties, picture frames, jewelry, ornaments, cookbooks, scarves, stuffed animals, puzzles, family DVDs, small toys, children's books, novelty mugs and other knick-knacks.

The PTFA also needs used gift bags in a variety of sizes!

Online Stores - 2 Weeks Left

Cornerstone's Spirit Wear & Dress-Code Approved online stores will close on 11/29. Don't miss your chance to purchase Spirit Wear items for Christmas gifts! There are many great items to choose from including new sweatshirts, hats and bags!  You can also purchase P.E. Uniform pieces and school dress-code approved fleece and hoodies. This will likely be your last chance to purchase these items for this school year, so don't miss out!

Scrip Order Updates -- Be Ready for Christmas Shopping!

Don't miss out on your opportunity to earn tuition credit when you head to the stores for Christmas shopping! We know many people begin shopping right after Thanksgiving, so we are updating our next Scrip order due-date to be ready.

Orders for "physical" gift cards must be placed by THIS FRIDAY, 11/18. Orders may be placed online and payment can be made online through PrestoPay or you may submit a check to the office. You can also submit a paper order form, with a check, to the office.  Cards will be delivered prior to our 1pm dismissal on Wednesday, 11/23, so that you can be ready to shop!

If you are signed up for PrestoPay, you can always purchase electronic cards at any time. This may be especially helpful during the busy Christmas shopping season. You can wait until you know which stores you will be visiting before you purchase your electronic cards! It takes 3-5 days to sign up for PrestoPay, so don't wait -- sign up now!

Don't miss Thank-Scrip-ing Day!  Great Lakes Scrip is celebrating "Thank-Scrip-ing Day" on Tuesday, 11/22.  There will be special bonus rebates for electronic gift cards purchased between 12am and 11:59pm on Tuesday, 11/22.  You must have PrestoPay in order to take advantage of these great deals and have your cards available before Thanksgiving.
