A Chapel of Thanksgiving

This morning our school community came together for a special time of thanks-giving.  It is always a special time when the whole school comes together. This year it was even more special as many of our classes participated in sharing thanks.

The Fifth Grade opened chapel with a choral reading of Psalm 100.  Then, the high school Praise Team led us in a song of worship.

Our Pre-K students shared two songs of thanks. They sang loudly of the goodness of God and His many blessings. Each student then shared a blessing that s/he was thankful for.

Grade 2 students also shared from the Psalms as they read Psalm 105:1.  They then each shared a message of thanksgiving. Many thanked God for their family, friends, and their school.

Cornerstone's senior class got everyone involved with their "interactive" song of thanks. Everyone was up on their feet and singing along!

Kindergarten and Grade 6 partnered together to share through a special "cardboard" presentation.

The sophomore class shared a special message and a challenge.  The class challenged all in attendance to not only express our thanks to the Lord, but to be his hands and feet to those around us.  In their words..."Just because you can't help everyone, don't let that stop you from helping someone."

Grade 4 students then led us in singing another song of praise to our Lord!

Just before the Praise Team closed our chapel with a final song, Grade 7 shared a special rap!

Throughout the chapel Mr. Millington led a time of sharing. Many students and adults alike shared words of thanks for the blessings that the Lord has provided.
