This morning students were inducted into the CCS Chapter of the National Honor Society for the first time. The ceremony focused on the four virtues upheld by NHS: scholarship, service, leadership and character. The six juniors and four seniors inducted this inaugural year into this prestigious organization were recognized by their faculty for exhibiting each of these virtues.
Typically the students serving as executive members of the NHS chapter participate in the ceremony by sharing about each of the four virtues. This year these roles were filled by members of our secondary faculty who are graduate members of their own high schools' NHS chapters.
We look forward to watching the Lord continue to work through each of these ten students as they serve their school with humility of character and continue to grow in leadership. We hope that each student will continue to seek after academic excellence as lifelong learners, committed to the high standard of scholarship set before them.
